Interest Rate on Debit Balances

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You will usually want to calculate interest on debit balances. Click the button to do so.

Once you open the interest rate form you will be able to specify the source of the interest rate(s) to use.

You can either specify a static (single) rate, or you can access a series of rates stored in an existing file, or one you can create now.

It can make sense to create an interest file even when there is only one rate. Interest rate files allow you to control other settings as well, and save you from remembering what the rate is.

You can also set interest rates for Credit Balances. These can be the same as for Debit balances, or completely different.
