Navigation:  Number of Amounts > Transactions > Recurring Transactions > Lease Example

To enter details of a lease involving 12 monthly instalments of $2,000, followed by 12 monthly instalments of $2,200 (eg adjusted for CPI) starting 10 January 2007 you would follow these steps.

 

 Step 1  Go the transaction editor.

 Step 2  Click the button and choose Recurring Debt.

 

 Step 3  Choose repeats

 

 Step 4  Enter the start date

 

 Step 5  Choose 12 repeats

 

 

 Step 6  Choose 1 month apart

 

 Step 7  Choose from the drop down particulars combo item as follows:

 

 Step 8  Choose the Variable Amounts tab.

 

This will let you enter amounts that change.

 

Click to enter a new record. Then Enter 12, 2000. This means that the first 12 items will be $2,000.

 

Click to enter a new record. Then Enter 12, 2200. This means that the next 12 items will be $2,200.

 

Click to save

 

 

 Step 9  Now click the button.

 

 

 Step 10  Click

 

 

 Finished  Results are shown in the Transactions editor
