
This option lets you generate report breaks and summaries on certain dates. This means you can for example break the report into financial years.

Interest on $11,102.77 (principal) at 10% per annum × 40 days (22/11/2004 to 31/12/2004 inclusive) ÷ 366 (days per year) is $121.34, resulting in a new unpaid interest balance of $535.24 ($413.90 plus $121.34).

(k) On 01/01/2005 the days per year base used to convert the annual interest rate into the daily interest rate changed to 365. The daily interest rate is now 0.02739726% on debit balances.
(l) Calculated interest on 03/04/2005 because it was the last day before the balance of principal changed on 04/04/2005. Interest on $11,102.77 (principal) at 10% per annum × 93 days (01/01/2005 to 03/04/2005 inclusive) ÷ 365 (days per year) is $282.89, resulting in a new unpaid interest balance of $818.13 ($535.24 plus $282.89).
(m) Credit on 04/04/2005: "Cheque No. 571009" $3,978.72CR. The payment was applied partly to interest ($818.13) and partly to principal ($3,160.59) leaving a new unpaid interest balance of $0.00 ($818.13 minus $818.13) and a new principal balance of $7,942.18 ($11,102.77 minus $3,160.59).
(n) Calculated interest on 30/06/2005. Interest on $7,942.18 (principal) at 10% per annum × 88 days (04/04/2005 to 30/06/2005 inclusive) ÷ 365 (days per year) is $191.48, resulting in a new unpaid interest balance of $191.48 ($0.00 plus $191.48).

(o) Calculated interest on 26/10/2005 because it was the last day before the balance of principal changed on 27/10/2005.
